"Inside Her" is a trace of a research process, developed as a site-specific solo.
The work happened in Brussels winter, in a cold and humid room with no heater.
The space was not adapted for the body.
The body had to adapt to the space.
The research started from movement.
Along the way, it shifted toward questions of sound, silence, and light.
The space, the stairs, the temperature, the light were not just there.
They affected decisions, rhythm, and how the body moved.
Meaning "wings" in Korean, Narae captures fleeting moments of freedom and constraint. A duet between presence and absence, performed in Korea and Belgium, combining subtle rhythms with precise, emotional movement. Premiered at Gunpo Cultural Foundation, Korea.
Supported by Gyeongi Cultural Foundation, Gunpo Cultural Founcation
Developed during a movement research residency at UP - Circus & Performing Arts in Brussels, Bouncing Back Together investigates themes of recovery, vulnerability, and reconnection. Through gesture, rhythm, and partnering, the work explores how bodies can adapt and support one another after disruption.
Premiered in Portugal, this performance questions instinct, obedience, and social conditioning through raw physicality and minimal scenography. Bibim’s first creation, it laid the foundation for the company’s emotionally driven, research-based style.
Co-production, premiere : Teatro lethes
A dreamlike solo exploring identity, societal pressure, and the meaning of transformation. Layered with symbolic gestures and fragmented memory, the work invites audiences into an intimate, imagined space between tradition and self-invention.
Co-production, presentation : Teatro das Figuras
A duet reflecting urgency, displacement, and disorientation through tightly choreographed repetition and spiraling motion. Created between Brussels and Seoul, Travellers responds to ideas of migration, waiting, and resistance.
Co-production, premiere : Seoul Dance Center, Seoul cultural foundation
